Ordering Process
Verification of Measurements, Options, Specifications
Customer agrees to verify all information prior to placing the order, and to notify SpaDepot.com immediately to request any corrections or changes. Customer agrees and understands that once production begins, no changes can be made, nor any monies refunded.
Customer understands that in the case of phone orders, SpaDepot.com will attempt to send a notice to the email address provided, in order to verify the customer's provided purchase information. Customer agrees to confirm or correct this information, as appropriate, and to accept the Terms & Conditions by return email, to allow for the order to proceed, and that further, orders will not enter production without this confirmation & agreement.
Customer accepts full responsibility for the accuracy of all provided measurements, as well as specifications including shape, fabric color, fold direction, and any and all options and/or upgrades. Customer understands and agrees that SpaDepot.com is not responsible for customer errors, and cannot accept returns nor issue any refunds for customer mistakes.
Payment Terms
Customer understands that the full order amount is charged to provided card payment method at time of order, and that the cardholder billing address must match the order shipping address.
No Returns on Custom-Made Items
Customer understands and agrees that custom spa covers are non-returnable because they are unique, custom built-to-order products.
Construction Essentials
Measurement Tolerances
Customer understands and agrees that due to normal manufacturing variances, finished covers typically vary by approximately ± ¾" from provided measurements, in actual finished size. Customer further understands and agrees that manufacturing variances are normal and acceptable, and do not constitute a defect or error on the part of the manufacturer or seller.
Model Size & Features Limitations
Customer understands that the maximum width and/or length of DuraTherm spa covers is 94".
Customer understands that SpaDepot.com strongly discourages allowing people or pets to walk upon any spa cover, or the placement of heavy objects on the cover, and that such activity will damage the cover, and void the DuraTherm cover limited warranty. Customer understands and agrees that SpaDepot.com cannot be held responsible for such damage.
Custom Feature Exclusions
Customer understands that DuraTherm does not manufacture spa covers with any special and/or custom features, beyond those listed for sale on the website, and agrees that SpaDepot.com will not be responsible in any way for their omission from any spa cover ordered. Customer agrees to assume sole responsibility for determining which features, if any, their cover must include for suitability, and to make their purchase decision accordingly.
Customer understands that DuraTherm's manufacturing exclusions encompass, but are not limited to, the following spa cover features:
- Cutouts for speakers, topside keypads, etc.
- More than 2 foam core panels
- More than 1 hinge
- Hoods or flaps for raised corners, spillways, etc.
- Cover lifter plates or anything attached to cover
- Irregular shapes, or any not shown on website
Strap & Buckle Location Variance
Customer understands and agrees that due to manufacturing variances in spa cover strap length and position, exact placement of strap buckles to their prior positions is not practical, should not be expected, and cannot be guaranteed. Customer further agrees and understands that the previous buckles should be replaced with every replacement cover, and that for these reasons, new buckles and screws are included with every new spa cover for installation in a new position as required. Customer understands that cover straps and latches are a required safety feature.
Fabric & Colors
Customer understands that DuraTherm spa covers are made with advanced WeatherShield woven outdoor fabric skin, not vinyl. Customer understands that Spa Depot has made every effort to assure that spa cover fabric colors are depicted accurately, and agrees that because colors shown online may vary from the actual fabric due to variances in lighting and display devices, exact color expectations cannot be guaranteed. Customer also agrees that SpaDepot.com cannot be held responsible for such variances, and understands that pre-purchase fabric swatch samples are available for color confirmation: order color swatches.
Production & Delivery
Production Time
Customer understands and agrees that since DuraTherm spa covers are custom built and then shipped by freight truck, lead times will be considerably longer than what is expected for stocked products. ETA (Build + Transport time): 4-6 weeks.
Freight Truck Shipping Requirements
Customer understands that a valid street address (no PO Boxes or APO), daytime phone, and valid email address are required, because the carrier may need to make contact regarding delivery. Customer understands that spa cover shipping is restricted to the US lower 48 states and that fees apply.
Customer understands and agrees that narrow roads, difficult driveways, sharp turns, cul-de-sacs or areas without turn-arounds may not be accessible by freight trucks, making curbside delivery impossible. Customer further understands and agrees that if the freight carrier determines that they cannot reach the delivery address, customer must make arrangements to meet the truck or pick up the cover at the shipping depot. Customer agrees to contact SpaDepot.com, prior to placing a spa cover order if any of the above listed and/or related delivery hindrances exist.
In Unlikely Event of Freight Damage
Customer understands and agrees that package contents must be inspected promptly for damage after delivery, because carrier will not consider claims after 3 days. Customer further agrees to report any damage claim to SpaDepot.com within that 3-day window, and to take and provide photos to support damage claim. Customer agrees to allow sufficient time, at the determination of the carrier, to process any damage claims, and to provide requested information necessary for claim processing.
Limited Warranty
Customer agrees to be bound by all of the terms & conditions of the DuraTherm Limited Warranty.
