My heater froze and cracked at -35 when the power went out for 10 hours. The new part came and I swapped out the plastic turn around part and used the new grommets/bushings/washers (whatever they're called) I put it all back together and it leaked terribly. I took it back apart, put the old grommets in it and it did not leak. Thanks a lot. Then when I applied power to the heater it popped the breaker. Not spa depot's fault that the element inside had frozen and broken too. I had to order a complete heater and it came quickly and it worked.
Don't use the supplied gaskets. The picture shows the new one on the top and the old one on the bottom. Of course it leaked using the new one. Use your old grommets
Tech advice was perfect. Item shipped quickly and accurately
This was one of the easiest fixes ever on my hot tub! Was going to call the repair company but thought I would check it out myself. After finding the leak I went to Spa Depot and found the part. After reading the reviews I thought I would give it a try. BAM!!!!! That was pretty darn easy. Saved at least $400. Would highly recommend this fix. Thanks Spa Depot!
