The pump was defective

I installed in my hot tub and it leaked. I had to remove it and install my old cover on the pump, because it wasn't sealing on the o-ring. My old pump cover sealed just fine.

I have never had luck removing an impeller to replace a seal. This was an inexpensive replacement and very easy to replace.
