Old pump motor quit on Monday morning pulled motor found perfect replacement on SpaDepot.com ordered that afternoon motor was shipped right away arrived on Wednesday about noon I installed the pump and had the hot tub back up and running in 20 minutes it didn’t even have time to get under 75 degrees. New motor is much quieter and doesn’t wake us up at night

I purchased two new jet pumps to replace the original units in a 20 year old Caldera Spa. The Waterway pumps from Spa Depot look to be very high quality and were fortunately relatively simple to install. I am confident they will last a long time.

I struggled to get the pump to fit the piping because the flex pipe was cold and stiff. Tech support suggested heating with a hair dryer. I decided to instead run the pump to get the tub hot. Once the water was hot the pipes softened up and I was able to tighten the pump to the base mount.

So far we have had no trouble with the replacement motor wet end combo. it fits in almost all holes under our many tubs. it is our most used motor.
