My whirlpool tub motor quit after 30 years. Very helpful info on web site. As a 73 year old grandma, was able figure out what type motor was needed and installation requirements. (Old motor no longer being made) Son installed and I've got my whirlpool back!

Good pump easy to wire but would like to have unions made for it had to shop around to find ones that fit.

exact, drop in replacement for my spa pump. 5 minutes to swap out the old one and i'm back in operation.

When I received the motor the capacitor was on top not as pictured. I did not have the clearance to use the motor you sent. I ended up removing capacitor and designing a mount to put capacitor on the back of motor. That ended up costing me another 2 hours of work and I also had to change plumbing to fit the motor in.

Included wiring diagram was great to ensure I got the high speed windings connected correctly.

The motor was a replacement from a previous install. Putting in the lower HP pump solve many problems. It was a simple install and the fittings were all correct.

When I received the product I dry tested to check the Electrical. The motor sounded good, but the pump sound weak also had a funny sound, Called hot line and to Make it simple BUYER BEWARE, and the services hung up while I was asking questions. Nothing mention about not be satisfied. Anyway installed the product and it work great, but the pump sounded like it would fail. After a Week It failed. I saw no reason for it to failed. So I started it up again and it worked. But then the pump and motor have failed. I reinstalled the old Pump and motor and that where I stand. Would you like it Back?

This pump was a good replacement. It came in just a few days and was easy to install. It is working very good. Spa depot provided excellent information and service.

Works as it should and fit my hot tub

I ordered this pump to replace an older StaRite pump in my spa and matched the hp and plumbing fittings. I had to build a new base for the pump unit as this one was much smaller physically than the original one. The only drawback I found was I noticed it is not as powerful as the old one. My jets are kind of weak now as compared to the old one. Not sure how I could have matched up the GPM. Knowing that I would have ordered a larger unit but it still does the job and best of all its new and doesnt leak.
