Pump Union Split Nut - 2" FBT

Used it to fix a tee coupling nut that cracked.

Worked perfectly! 10 minute (less actually) fix for what would have been an expensive repair. Highly recommended to replace cracked or failing unions. I didn't even bother to remove the old one—just slid it up higher on the pipe.

Fixed my hot tub without major plumbing repairs. I had one issue installing the union nut getting it to pass over the elbow flange to the pump discharge connection. I had to loosen both screws slightly so the union nut would clear the flange and line up with the threads, started with a couple turns then tightened up the screws. Finished tightening up the nut and hot tub back in service no leaks!

Absolutely a great repair for split pump couplers. So much easier than replacing the entire end.

This is the only wat to replace a broken union nut on your Jets. DO NOT make the same mistake I did. I first bought a split nut for Heat pump, figuring that all the union nuts were the same, and not knowing there was one specifically for Jet pumps. They did not fit. These do...for the Jet pumps. And worked perfectly. I also used a bit of the hot tub silicone sealant on each before installing to help ensure water tightness. Not sure it was necessary, but I do know that it worked!

Seems to be a nice pump so far and operates just as good as the previous pump. The transaction was smooth and fast delivery. Technical support however is not customer friendly. I called three times for a question about the pump and I was on hold for 15 minutes, when they finally picked up after about 15 rings they hung up on me without saying a word. I called back and explained to the lady what happened and she said she would have them call me. Here it is a week later and no call back. Poor technical support/customer service. Would have been a 5 star if it wasn't for technical support.

Nothing mysterious, works to fix cracked original part.

Fit well. Would have liked to see a seal/gasket between the two pieces included. Used a dab of silicone (RTV) to be safe.

I thought my hot tub was toast when I broke the original fitting. This part was a life saver. For all those who are wondering, yes the 2"" fitting fit the 3"" male threads of my pump perfectly. How they are named is a bit confusing.

Fittings were exactly what I needed. Changed the fitting on my chlorinator without needing to disassemble the piping. bought some spares in case I need them for my spa

Great product along with the one for the spa heater as well. without these ""split ring"" replacement nuts, a whole lot of plumbing would need to be replaced in the spa, any time a nut on a pvc pipe that is flanged cracks. I have had to replace one on the heater pipe, and just recently, one on the pump. Thanks for the fast shipping on these parts when needed.

Perfect replacement split nut for my Hot Springs Vanguard hot tub pump hose. Easy to install on connection with limited space / flexibility in hose due to split nut design.

Had to have high pressure pump rebuilt for older Coast spa. When reinstalling, the locking collar on the pressure side broke. Being the pressure side, I was concerned that this split nut would hold. So far, so good- no leaks.
