Our Pump Union Split Nut makes it quick and easy to replace cracked, leaky pump union nuts, especially where access is limited. Simply remove or break away damaged nut, place halves over tailpiece, secure halves by tightening the (2) screws, and lastly screw assembled nut onto pump threads.

  • 2½" Female Buttress Thread
  • Stainless Steel screws included

Product notes: Small flange designed for pump union tailpieces -- will not work for heater unions. For 2.5" heater unions, use BX9440.

The technical staff at Spa Depot saved the day and saved me a lot of money. I have a filter Union nut that cracked and I was wondering to see if I were able to use the two and a half split nut for my filter my piping is all two and a half so I'm asking does the flange need to be bigger or the 2 1/2 will work. Thanks
