User caution on size...

I ordered this part because it wasn't clear if I needed it when I also purchased a replacement pump housing (which I actually didn't need the seal - the housing comes with one!) However, no where did it say that the shaft diameter for this was 5/8"". Turns out my exact motor has a 1/2"" shaft diameter, so be careful to actually measure your shaft diameter before assuming that the factory seals are the correct size for you!

I have a waterway 48 Iron Might hot tub pump that is leaking at the pump seal. I think the pump number is 3420610-1E. I'm trying to figure out what pump seal to purchase to make the repair. Can you let me know which pump seal works for this hot tub pump? Thx!

Waterway has used both PS-1000 and PS-200 pump seals in the Iron Might. If you're not planning on disassembling the pump beforehand (I strongly recommend disassembly first, since the impeller may break during removal), the safest bet is to buy both pump seals.
