Left my hot tub a mess

I followed the directions to a tee. It made the water cloudy at first and I followed the instructions to address that. Next day, water is clear but there is a thick layer of white sludge covering the entire bottom and sides of my tub and my filter was completely jammed with the sludge. I’ll be weeks cleaning up this mess. The pictures taken are after 2 days of cleaning and vacuuming. The filter has been soaking for 2 days as well. Sure would appreciate any advice about how to clean this up without dumping all the water, again.

DO NOT USE IN HARD WATER!

I made the mistake of adding calcium booster before using this. This stuff solidified every bit of calcium and coated EVERYTHING chalky white. Gummed up the filter, calcium deposits on jets, every tub surface, and coated heater element white. Descaler did not help. Had to drain tub, remove heater element, every single jet and control, and wash tub and jets in CLR. If you added any calcium booster, DO NOT USE! The pic is of the heater element. Every jet and tub surface looked the same.

So wanted it to work but doesn't for me

Our water starts with low hardness. Balance alk and pH and poured in bottle. Afterwards alk high and pH low which is a weird combo. Lowered hardness to way less than 50 ppm. Tried to lower alkalinity with pH down didn't seem to work. Tried to raise hardness since everything I read low hardness is bad. Turned the water to slimy milk when I added calcium hardness. Probably drain and start over. Bummer was I bought 3 bottles.

Right on target

Keeps the spa pH all the ways through the time to change the water again. Remember, don't adjust alkalinity until after you put the pH Control in.
