Back in ""hot water"" with the wife

Experienced the typical old worn out gate seal when attempting to replace the pump shaft seal, so it turned into a project but this gate valve pump union fit the requirements perfectly. If I need to do the same for the number 1 pump, I will certainly order this unit again. Got me back in ""hot water"" with the wife, so it was well worth it.

What size coupler do I use on the slip end? I'm going to be using 2" pipe on this end. Do I use a 2" coupler? Thanks!

The easiest thing to do is glue our Reducing Adapter 2"SP x 1.5"SP (SKU: BX9833) into the valve, and then glue a 2" coupling (SKU: BX9961) onto the Reducing Adapter to accept your 2" PVC.
