Saltron Mini Replacement Cell

We use this setup to chlorinate both our little pool in the summer as well as the hot tub throughout the winter. Got about 18 months out of the original cell so I'd say it's worth the investment. Not a fan of chemicals and the salt water is so much easier on the skin. No complaints!

I've used the Saltron from SpaDepot for many years. Love it! Then last year I noticed that Amazon was selling a knock-off much cheaper. So I bought one. You get what you pay for. I had to send it back after a month as it kept shorting out my GFCI. But I'm a slow learner. I bought another, different brand knock-off from Amazon, again much cheaper. It worked well for a few months, and then started shorting our my GFCI. Lesson learned now.

I wish it wasn't so expensive, but after 3, years of using the original, the electrode stopped working so this was the replacement. It worked immediately when I plugged it in. 3 stars for price, but it works perfect.

I don’t know the science, but these things work, just wish they lasted longer.

The Saltron is the only way to go to run a saltwater hot tub and have zero chemical costs other than cheap pool salt when you fill your tub

I replaced my old cell after 3 years, it was still working but I had lo light always on. The new cell produce a lot more chlorine than the old one.

My unit was constantly flashing LO even when the salt level was correct. Replace the cell with this and it is working perfectly again.

I've had my unit around 4 years. I've been getting 18 - 24 months on my Cells. To save a little $ I ordered two this time. For the ease and near same cost as buying chemicals over and over and over. I should be good for 3 to 4 years now. I do clean them as recommended and I think that helps get the longer life as well as the water being chemically balanced

We purchased the Saltron mini spa chlorine generator unit a couple years ago and we absolutely love it. Our unit stopped ""fizzing"" so we purchased this replacement cell and it is working fine again.
