CALIFORNIA WARNING

Highly-rated 2" pipe connector praised by customers for compatibility with spas and hot tubs. "Fit perfectly" and "worked perfectly" according to reviewers, with fast delivery. One customer noted fit can be "a little loose" with sch.40 PVC, requiring extra cement, though fits snugly in flexible PVC. Customers appreciate value and ease of use.

A little loose

I have used many of these and figured I should do a write up on it as they all seem to be the same. They fit inside normal sch.40 pvc and the male end of water manifolds with some decent slop in it. I usually have to use a good amount of pvc cement to make it set right. They do fit good in the flexible pvc, somewhat snug. I really think they need to be just a smidge larger to make up for the little bit of slop though.

I assume you can use glue to install, but can I instead use a pipe clamp with flexible pipe/tube?

SpaDepot.com

Flex pipe is too rigid to seal with a hose clamp. The only sure fire way to seal flex pipe to fittings is with PVC cement.
