Replacement part

Not only did the replacement part fit perfectly it was an upgrade because I converted my hot tub to salt water and the new heater has titanium element which means it will last much longer than the old one di8d

Manufacturer Defect causing leak

After a difficult install during s -20 cold snap, the heater was leaking internally. The heater was removed for inspection. A leak was found internal to the attached electrical box. A close inspection shows the stainless tube was not formed properly (too short) which meant the rubber compression seal could not seal on the tube properly. I was forced to use silicon to seal the tube properly. Hopefully the repair gets us through the winter.
