Inexpensive safety device, looks good help me get in and out of the hot tub safer. Very easy to assemble.

Real nice and easy to install. Really fit our need.

Got this handle for my husband who is 83, had a heart attack and his legs are wobbly. Finally he can again enjoy our hot tub. The handle is sturdy, well made and easy to install. Love the way it swivels for access in and out of tub. For extra safety we had two more holes and screws drilled at the base, into the wood floor. Reason for 4 stars. The handle sits in the pole a fraction of an inch longer than the hole for the button to click into. That means we have to pull up slightly on the handle before the button clicks into place. If we aren't careful each time the handle is moved to insure that click is heard the handle becomes a safety hazard as it then moves around. Otherwise, we love it! If we had room on the other side of the steps we would install a second one.

Easy to install

We've only been using the hand rail for 2 weeks and so far I'm happy we bought it. I like the ease in swinging the rail handle to change direction. We swing ours into the spa to grab for easier exit, then swing it parallel to the spa when closing the cover. The only thing I'm concerned with at all is that the pole flexes a bit when you grab onto the handle while inside the spa. Hopefully that won't be an issue over time. After reading reviews talking about rusted hardware I decided to buy Rustoleum paint in the same finish and put several coats on the pole and braces after the rail was assembled. Time will tell whether this review will remain at 4 stars or if it changes up or down, but for now I'm happy especially at this price.

We recently bought a new hot tub from a local dealer who offered a similar handrail, but I knew that I could find a better price online. Even with rush delivery, I saved about $100 with the Guardian rail. When the installer arrived to install the tub and upon seeing the Guardian rail, he said, ""Wow! This is much better than what we sell.""

Works well, strong...............but the hardware and supports are rusting after just 2 months.

Well built and strong. Makes entry/exit from our hot tub much safer. Easy to assemble. Would have gone with 5 stars except hardware is rusting after only 2 months. Contacted SpaDepot and they said it will rust !! ??? I guess they are honest, but I find a product that is known to be exposed to water is going to rust is unacceptable and should be corrected. They haven't wanted to post my response, but I hope they will.

I bought a handrail and could see that it’s going to help me get in and out if the tub more easily I went back the next day and bought another for the other side. It’s sturdy and fitted under my hot tub so stable. It’s the best option for me and I like that I’m supporting a local company.

Good build quality easy to put together nice price

Easy to put together. It's sturdy but I couldn't put the foot under my filled hot tub so I put a 50lb. Bag of sand on it to sure it.

This works great for us. We have 2 of them. 1 on each side of the tub. With out them my husband couldn't use the hot tub.

All the parts for this lined up perfectly. Holes drilled in the right places and all hardware included. The only discrepancy for me was I think the instructions mentioned a 7/16 size nut but my kit had a 10mm. Design is great and very useful. SpaDepot is a resource that I always do good business with.

Although cannot put it under the Spa right now, Filled with500 gallons of water. Am able to slide it under the steps which weigh about 80 Lbs and attach it to the stairs for extra support.

Nice quality, I like the fact that it locks every quarter turn. Makes rotating the handle to enter and exit easy.

The rail worked out great I was in the process of changing out the water for the summer and the rail arrived, put it together easy enough and slide it under the spa .Worked out great.

Well made, sturdy, quick shipping, a little tricky to slide the base under the spa, but with a lever and a block of wood, we made it work.
The directions were okay, but they should make a point of a couple of parts that need to face in a particular direction for the correct attachments. Very helpful and safer getting in and out of the spa.

Sturdy, easy to assemble, and install!

Assembly was easy, as well as sliding into place. The only issue we had was what side of the steps to place it on. Right side for Right-handed and left side for Left-handed:)
Really is easier to get in and out of the spa with no fear of faling or slipping. Great product glad we got it.

This is my second handrail of this type. The first one rusted out at the bottom. I don't care what the metal is the chlorinated water is going to rust it. Even when I replaced the first one, the metal held my weight. Clever design, the weight of the spa holds the handrail in place. This time I think I am going to pull out the handrail once a year and sand it down if needed and paint it with rust oleum. Very happy.

Different color, but fit and function as they're supposed to.

It took several weeks for the item to arrive - supply chain delays and all that..... And the welded or 'captive' bolts on the base plate DID NOT align with the holes in the post. Easily remedied by drilling, tho'. The manufacturer's error, not SapDepot. Once suitably 'modified', it seems to be a good product.

This product is a good thing but, I feel it needs a stronger and stiffer base plate and support!

It's exactly what is needed for a spa!!!
