with Covid-19 around, and my spa in need of a freshen up to pass the time til warm weather, i couldn't shop for supplies, so i went back to Spa Depot for this filter cleaner -- it did the job as did some other chemicals i got at good prices with fast shipping. This spray cleaner did the job on a filter that was overdue. I now have 2 filters that i can rotate now that i have adequate supply. Spray the filter for loose particles, spray with the cleaner and let it sit (shade preferred) for 15 mins, and then hose off.

if your filter is really dirty might be better to have one of the overnight soak kinds of cleaner

It doesn't emit these strong chemical smells that the other filter cleaning product I used. It gets the job done. Filter regains whiteness after applying and rinsing this spray

I used this to clean the scum off my hot tub lid and filter. It worked really well. Better than the filter soak.
