easyPak Powered by Balboa BP7 Pre-Configured Spa Control

Had a bad relay on original 20 year old HydroSpa pak, pump #2 would not turn on. Spadepot team recommended Balboa BP7 kit. Very happy with my Balboa BP7, TP500 Keypad and Jet pump cords.
The customer support was great, they guided me thru the whole process and the spa is back up and running. Installation was easy.

So far , works great . I do wish there was a video " how to " to explain the steps to installing, and the keypad . I still don't know how to completely use the keypad . How to set everything up .

Perfect replacement for our 23 year old Coleman Spa, the old sps was a Balboa si this fit in great using the old mounting brackets. The old top side was longer than the adapter that was included with the TP600 Topside so I bought a piece of 1/8" Black ABS and made my own, worked out great

I bought my spa in 1992 and this is the third control unit installed in it. The BP7 is well designed and installation was easy. The topside control panel covered all three of the old air actuators. I'm very happy with it and hope I get another 15 years from it. Tech support was great too. The high and low wires were swapped at the motor (when on low speed on the controller I was actually in high speed mode) They told me to swap the red and black wires. Did the trick.

Easy to install. Works great. What else is there to say?

Aside from having to recut and groom the 240V Mains coming in, it was easy, almost plug and play and worked as expected on first startup. I assumed there was some error in that the pump always starts on high speed. This is different to either of my previous controllers. But after re-checking everything, I'm pretty sure it is operating as it is programmed. I have yet to immerse myself in the programming options, I would like to change this to where the pump would always first start in low speed and the second push would take it to high speed. This seems to be constant whether operating manually or in automatic circulation/fresh up/heating. I personally would prefer it be the other way around in all cases.

Had a relay stuck on the old board of a 10 year old tub. Ryan in Tech Support helped me try several things before suggesting part replacement.
Not canned BS suggestions but real stuff. Keep that guy!!!
Anyway, bought the replacement pack and installed myself.
Surprised as you know what when everything worked and no leaks!

Perfect plug in play. I have Spa I purchased in 2005 which had the Analog Spa Pack and the Control Board went out. This Spa Pack fits perfectly and set-up was easy than expected. I also purchased the HCD-55 Ozone Generator alone with the this Spa Pack.

Thank you to all the staff involved in my purchase. I am an auto detailer and my body is always in dire need of a good soak in my hot tub. Beachcomber in Vancouver wanted to charge me much, much more for an adaptor kit because Balboa discontinued the manufacture of the control (circuit) board that I needed. I had a local expert install the new kit from Spa Depot and now my hot tub in bubblicious.

I've only had it up and running for about two weeks now, but it works great. Was one of the cheaper control units I could find, and I love it! Last time I bought a spa guys pneumatic controller, only lasted a year and a half. Hopefully I get more out of this one. Love the digital controls, and it was extremely easy to wire in. Fit my existing plumbing too.

My older balboa circuit board went bad. I found a replacement board but Expensive. Customer care suggested the new Balboa VS series kit. I received it fast and after redoing some old plumbing, was able to install with no issue.

Replaced the control panel on my viking spas royale, perfect fit. Only complaint is the topside control is way smaller and the adapter they send is too big and not flexible at all. Other than that, system is great. Fast shipping, great customer support. Will purchase from spa depot again!

i rebuilt a 1993 vita spa i used the balboa product shown very easy to install i used the 240 volt install i think it was a better choice for power consumption these guys are the best the shipping was free i ordered the pump this unit also the rubber mount for the pump amongst other little things i needed

I am really happy with my purchase, the spa manufacturer of my tub has gone out of business, and the control board burned up. Their board was proprietary and no longer available, so I went with the VS500Z Heater/Controller, with a little bit of reconfiguring of the plumbing I made it fit. (It helps to be mechanically inclined). Then a 20 minute chat with their tech support my tub was up and running again. FYI These come with no instructions, each spa is different, so if you are comfortable hooking up the electric and doing some minor plumbing, this unit will save you big $$$$. The actual install took about 3 hours, then 20 minutes with tech support. An awesome product with great customer support.

I retro fitted the VS500 into a Laguna Bay Spa, they are no longer in business and I needed to replace the control board. I ordered the VS500 and it arrived in a timely manner, I installed it in the spa and then called the Tech Support for the final configuration, (there are no instructions for this and you need to be a little mechanically savvy to install the controller) I spoke with Thomas and he walked me through the final configuration of the DP switches, pumps, etc. Thomas was helpful and very knowledgeable and in 45 minutes my spa was up and running for the first time in months, thank you Thomas and Spa Depot. Customer service was very helpful and the installation of this retrofit kit was very quick and painless. Startup of the system was quick as well and it is operating flawlessly. The only thing that was a little packing was the product description and what is included. The element is indeed 4.0k titanium and the kit includes a light fixture as well as pump and blow wires. This item will modernize old hot tubs

Unit fit right in place without modification.
Dustan was configured the board for proper voltage and system requirements.
I had problems getting my circulation pump running and Dustan pointed me in the right direction. It was a bad plug going into the new board.

Stop changing elements if you need a new pack to upgrade and swap from the VS series this is a great go to to get.
Great pricing, the heating element is free standing so its a lot easier to work on and it's made in America too!
Going strong for the past 6 months and before this I was buing a new element every 3 months.
