easyPak Powered by Balboa BP100 Pre-Configured Compact Mini+ Spa Control: Remote Heater

Fantastic experience buying this pack. SpaDepot programmed it for me ahead of time. The kit is very flexible for multiple types of installations and came with everything. Sizing pf the controller was perfect as my tub doesnt have much room inside. Top side panel has lots of options, but I chose the smallest 200 series. Everything is working great, so glad I bought this pack and used SpaDepot instead of other resellers. Great service, great product. Everything arrived quickly and well packaged.

Priced right and with some help from Dustan to connect the power into unit proved to be one great purchase

Quality stuff. This is the second Balboa I have ordered and installed.

The shell on my 30 year old hot tub was in perfect shape, but it needed some TLC. Staff was able to identify the parts I needed and guide me through the install. It works better than new. So much easier and cheaper than buying a new tub. The BP100 was slick to install and clearly marked.

I knew the Balboa easyPak was a good controler but it has also been upgraded since my last one. Nice move to put the temp sensors directly into the heating tube. The basic topside control panel can be a bit frustrating but given time, it's just another device to learn how to program properly. The phone app with wifi control is the way to go but I wanted to keep the price down. It swapped out with my old one no problem and worked first time!

Very easy to install, had a few questions answered in minutes by the tech department

Working with my hot tub manufacture was almost impossible, when it came to finding a replacement spa pack. SpaDepot customer support helped me find the right one at an excellent price. The Pre-configured setup made it a breeze to install and be up and running.

This made for a relatively easy replacement of my old balboa lite leader controller and heater, and spadepot was able to give me some quick chat support on my questions. My only complaint on the hardware is that the ground terminal interferes with the 90 degree elbow for the liquid tight conduit on the power feed, it would be better to relocate the ground terminal elsewhere or have the entrance for the power feed stepped out or something.

this is a good panel, the average person may need some tech support as the instructions are a little vague about the voltage connections between 120 volt supply and 240 volt supply. As a career electrician, I was able to make quick work of this unit, the average handman may need a little direction.

This unit worked perfect. The heater was the same length as the old one which made the conversion ultra easy. Support at Spa depot was great and when I received it , it took about 2 hours to change out. Works perfect now. Would buy from this place again.

The order arrived rapidly and the product is exactly as described. I am handy but have limited electrical experience. The included instructions are likely enough for a more experienced person.

installed 2 days ago,so far working great,only thing I found could be more helpful is a longer cord on the spa topside control,had to buy xtra cable and a connector so it would reach the circuit board.

I had a very old control kit that is no longer available, the Balboa WH-MAS75-GCAK. Bought this, re-did some old plumbing, and hooked it up. Most of the wiring and plug-ins are easy and straightforward, but I did have a few questions which Ryan quickly answered. The hot tub is now running again, exactly as before, no glitches or hassles. I can't speak to the unit's durability yet, of course, but so far it's running great. Considering that my hot tub is about 25 years old, I'm very pleased with how smooth the upgrade process was. I had to improvise a little here and there, but nothing major.

Had a 20 year old Jaccuzi hot tub. The pump ran but it stopped heating. We did some trouble shooting and the heater wasn't getting any power which meant a bad control circuit board. Tyler from Spa Depot helped me choose the right pack. This one isn't as pretty as the other digital units but he recommended it over them because it had more flexibility in installation for my situation (didn't hurt that it was also a little less expensive). The footprint of the box is smaller than my original unit AND the heater can be seperated from it allowing more installation options. It went in perfectly and almost everything was plug and play. You may even be able to use your old temperture sensors but make sure you take pictures of your existing circuit board and all the connections before you disconnect anything. The only down side to the new circuit board is that it does not have terminal connections inside for the 220V like the old one did. It just has wires coming out, but I robbed the plastic covered terminal connector block from the old unit and used it in the new one. Worked fine. With that said, if you're not an electrictian and not comfortable working around 220, no shame in having an electrictian do the power hookup. Another thing I liked about the Spa Depot was I originally put in an order for just a replacement circuit board and was also going to replace the heater just to be on the safe side, but they held my order and contacted me. Rather than replacing the heater and circuit board, they pointed out that buying the pump pack kit was the exact same cost and it added a replacement topside control unit, sensors, wire harness and supplied a lot of extra parts. Recommend this unit and Spa Depot's excellent staff.
