This unit does not hold a consistant temp. Ranges between 102 - 118. Adjust it down slightly ( 1/16"" ) and it drops to mid 90's.
Awesome control box with heater that has a temperature maximum setting of 104 degrees, which is tops for me. My hot tub is over 23 years old and i thought i wasn't going to find a replacement bur SpaDepot came to the rescue and matched a picture i sent them. With a couple of small plumbing adjustments, i am off and running again. Thanks for your fantastic help SpaDepot
Spa part fit perfect and works perfect!
I was very pleased to find this was a direct replacement for my older 2 person hot tub . It even had the same plastic heater housing as the original unit . Inlet and outlet pipes were a perfect fit and they included the required PVC unions . you have to glue them on yourself which is OK since you might have to adjust the lengths of the 1.5 pipes to fit your particular situation . It was nice to get the 2 new air control buttons which fit the old holes just fine . The wire & plugs for the motor and air blower were different than my original but I just took my time and wired them up proper so they are safe . The only drawback was that the 220V model did not have a built in GFI like my original so that was a bit of a pricey suprise that I acquired locally . If your tub is over 10 yrs old like mine I strongly suggest you replace the sliding gate valves on either side of this unit since the chemicals turn them into mush to the point that they dont turn off anything . I wish I had just ordered them from Spa Depot at the same time . Instead I had to run to the nearest spa store 120 miles round trip. The thermostat on this unit pegs out at a maximum temp of around 105 deg which is about as hot as you should ever go anyway. It took about a week to get the unit but that was right after the hoiday rush .
