Spa Cover-Mate I Lifter - Side Mount

I installed this as a lift from my hot tub cover. Extremely pleased the way it works and how easy it is to lift my spa cover. Very easy to install just follow the instructions.

The bars were too long for my small hot tub (Hot Springs TX) - so I had to saw them down several inches to make the correct size. After that it fit and works fine. Too bad the description didn’t give to smallest size.

I have used this brand many times on many different hottubs. This is my favorite by far. Pretty easy to install and lasts for years.

I usually have no problems with your products but this time it was not as expected. It was missing a couple of parts but I made it work my old one I had. I found the side mount was plastic and thought it should be metal like the one I could have ordered from the local store. This time it was a big mistake.

Very simple to install and works great. My old lifter rusted away. This one should last longer. Looks nice on my hot tub.

The spa cover I have is old and really heavy, so I was a little concerned when I opened the box and saw the main brackets are plastic. Is this going to snap off the first time I use it? We'll find out soon enough! Installing it was a snap as others had suggested, and I appreciated the attention to detail, including the little rubbery bolt caps. On trying it out, I realized my earlier concerns weren't warranted, as it opens and closes without flexing or drama. We're still going to lift and lower the cover slowly and evenly, but as long as we do that, it should last years.

The product was what we needed. It seems well made and has done the job.

You need a special version of this cover lifter with metal brackets if you have a Sundance spa. I purchased this one without knowing that ahead of time and they didn't give me a full refund, even though they didn't disclose the Sundance special requirement on the site.

Not very durable. This is the third time I've had to replace this lifter.

I have a very thick heavy hot tub cover and bought this lifter to replace an older model that had collapsed under the weight of the cover. This lift is very solid and after 1 months use I believe this lift will hold up for a long time. Replaced an old one. Would suggest power drill to help screw in screws to final lift bar. It works well and so light.
