I bought two filters for my spa I was really happy to find a place that has the right kind. They showed at my home very fast. Also the filters fit in my spa just perfect. I absolutely will be buying some more. Thank you SpaDepot for a nice easy transaction and good products. This place is perfect for all your spa needs.

I purchased this filter as a replacement for the original filter that shipped with our Aquaterra Spa. Unfortunately, the Clarathon filter is a cheap imitation of poor quality construction. The threaded filter neck is shorter than the original, with less threads, and is crooked - not at a right angle with the filter body; the filter threads are poorly cut. The end result was the Clarathon filter did not screw into the spa easily and once I got it screwed in, the filter was not centered in the Spa as it should be. The Clarathon filter cord is very light-weight compared to the OEM filter cord and is simply melted into the plastic top of the filter as an attachment method - instead of threaded through the filter securely as with the OEM filter. The cord pulled loose right out of the plastic top when I attempted to unscrew the filter.

I bought two for our spa. The filter is great, but the string broke the first time I removed it. Hope they can make it stronger. Don't over tighten it or it will be difficult to turn.

Good quality overall minus the rope. They used a very cheap rope string that breaks if you try to use it to tighten or loosen filter like the original one that came with the hot tub I bought. Best to replace filter every 3-4 months if you are using the hot tub every night like I do.

Just řinče it off when you change water and you are good to go. Only after doing this 3 ok r 4 times will you need to replace it. The price is right. Can’t ask for anything more

You can get cheaper, but those brands have less pleats and don't last long at all. Clarathon is relatively inexpensive and very good quality.

I use these filters and really like them. They seem to keep the water clear for much longer than the white filter material.

Clarathon filters are by far the best we've used. Tried another replacement brand and had to replace it within a month as it disintegrated. Will stay with this brand as there has never been an issue.

As other said in their reviews the Strings/Ropes suck and break. I drilled and added Ropes from an older filter. The filter works great once you replace the ropes. I will wait to buy again, when they fix this issue.

I did find a different brand filter that I haven’t tried, cheaper at W-Mart. SpaDepot is a solid business to deal with. I am a repeat customer.

When you send product you need to include dunnage, so it doesn’t rattle around in the box in transit, and possibly damage the item!
