Clarathon FC-3964 Spa Filter PCD75N C-7375 73531

I have a 2003 Caldera Utopia, which has been bulletproof reliable, it was time to buy new filters went to the dealer they were very pricy so I decided to check the web. Stumbled on the SpaDepot site plunged in my filter model number found a number of filter options. After review I decided to step up and purchase antimicrobial filters. They were less than standard filters from the dealer. I'm particular and always keep the water crystal clear now I have a bit of additional protection.

Box was way to small for filter.

The core of this filter has some flex when pressed, whereas the OEM filter core is completely rigid with no give at all. Although this is the only significant difference I observed, it is enough for me to continue using either the OEM filter or the Filbur FC-3964 moving forward.

The instructions yo orger a filter for my hot tub were very easy and explicit. Make sure you have the dimensions of your old filter. Fits perfect in my hot tub and easy to clean.

The filter came quick. It works very well in our hot tub. Filters large and small particles.

Filter was very close to what I was replacing. I just had to make a minor adjustment to the diameter hole. I advised them and they were very concerned and asked for pics to compare. Not unhappy with my purchase but may look elsewhere when I look for replacements to hopefully eliminate any necessary modifications
