Good, reliable filters

I've maintained and repaired my own hot tubs for 30 years and have never had any issues with this brand. I generally keep 2 filters on hand, cleaning and switching them out monthly. Per the hot tub manufacturer's recommendation, I replace them both annually - i.e., after 6 one-month cycles each. However, I feel as though the Clarathon filters would be effective longer.

This brand of filter is still half the cost of brand of filter I bought from the spa showroom over 12 or more years ago. It’s probably a combination of the brand plus Spa Depot’s great prices. We could detect no difference in performance between the two brands.
