It is very convenient to have the twin packs, as I use my jacuzzi alot (and therefore, have to replace the filters often). So, these are very economical and work great.

We are still getting silt on the bottom of our 2 month old rarely used Saluspa. Thinking a higher square foot "VI" filter might help. We have changed filters with store bought, Amazon ones and also reused the cleaned originals daily, tested water multiple times following up with recommended chemicals, drained hot tub twice and back-flushed pump. Bought a vacuum but it basically just blows the silt around the hot tub. Suggestions on better VI filter AND spa vacuum that will pick up silt. Thanks.

This Clarathon filter is the best quality replacement for VI filters on the market. A lot depends on the nature of the silt you're experiencing. One easy thing to do is make sure you're getting a good seal between the cover and the tub. Otherwise, if the silt you're experiencing is calcium (or other) coming out of suspension in the water, we likely have a water treatment to remedy that. Call us and we'll happily help troubleshoot the issue. The vacuum I recommed is our Shake-a-Vac Spa & Pool Water Vacuum & Drain (SKU: AC1021). It's inexpensive and works like a charm!
