Why no instructions

This filter was a substitute for the one in my spa originally and it seems to be working fine. It came with a ring around it and no instructions. I tried to remove the paper encircling it and I don't think I was supposed to. It would have been nice to know this.

It is all i order now..

Its the sum of several aspects that keep things cleaner, so one of them is the antimicrobial filter. I find it easier to clean. Outstanding service from Spa Depot both in supply and after sales service. FYI i also use Aqua Sun electronic ozonator, Spa Enzyme Clear & Oxy Spa. (since 2012, will not go back to bromine) with these i have very stable ph. So adjust + a couple of times in six months. Oh ya only change my water 2x a year now because it does not saturate as with bromine or chlorine systems.
