I am not sure I understood what I was purchasing

The filter fits my MasterSpa Twilight series just fine, but it is opened on both ends and does not twist in. So if you are purchasing this as an alternative to the double filter, then see if there is an insert that closes off the top and is able to screw into the filter opening. The filter itself is great and fine, but again as a substitute for the original this is not what you are looking for.
