Balboa VL403 6¼"W Topside Keypad Series

I was hesitant to go at it alone, but watched to how to video also listed on the site and was sure I could repeat without technical support. I did switch out the control keypad taking approx.10 minutes without issue and now it works as expected.

The keypad replacement was easy and works great.

I purchased a hot tub on marketplace that was an older dynasty and upon wiring it up wouldn't work, the controller would only slightly light up so after searching for a replacement I ordered this one and my $400 marketplace tub works like a dream

This clicked right in and was easy to install.

I emailed spa depot with a picture of my topside control. They replied and I answered some questions. Order placed and new topside control arrived within a few days. Plugged in (it's like an ethernet cord - super easy to click on both sides) pulled off pre-mounted tape and stuck to the tub. Done. 5 minutes and my old useless one was gone. Looks great - I can see it clearly from far away.

This is the 4 button control - just like the prior one. The install was easy and it works. The buttons are not labeled the same my old one - this one operates blower, light, temp up, temp down going left to right. The button labels are in a different order. I can't see the labels at night.

After consulting with Spa Depot's online chat, I was given several options as to which topside control worked with my older circuit board. I chose the size control that matched my old one, hooked it up, and everything works great.

My panel was completely worn out. Glad to get a new and better one. Installed by my handyman. Works nice.

The panel works as it should but I think the design could be better. You can't feel the buttons. My panel is very smooth. I find it hard to push any of the buttons to turn anything on because you can't feel where the buttons are. It's not a deal breaker. Good Price and works great.

We bought this as a replacement for our control panel, it was a perfect fit and the installation was quick and easy with just one plug in. The price was right too!

My 11 year old spa started acting up. The control panel would just count up and count down the temperatures. After some investigation, I opted to replace the topside control. The part replacement was very easy, and it resolved my problems.

Perfect replacement, and easy to install, I am not a do it yourself type, but this was easy. It did not come with directions, You just take out the old and install the new.
