Tub much better with HOT water!!

We installed this heater and it fit perfectly. Ran it about 4 hours and the heating element burned out. We had good water flow and pressure was about 5 lbs. Element was pulling 21.4 amps. I own a HVAC company and we work on all kinds of hydronic systems. I'm saying we have the experience with all kinds of hydronic systems and there was no problem with the installation. Part has a 1 year warranty which is good. Lets see if they will honor it. On the plus side, the shipping time was excellent and got to us a day earlier then expected.

I have ordered this part number before and successfully installed it in my Spa which has a Balboa 2000 LE Value controller. The heater assembly I received this time has a larger pressure sensor module and would not fit properly in the controller. I got it in and working BUT I could not fit the cover on with this heater installed. Also, I could connect only one of the two clamps that hold the heater in place. I am concerned that with time and vibration the heater element will loosen and leak or break since it is not connected as it should be. I would not recommend this heater for my system or if your system does not have extra space around the pressure sensor
