Part great but Tech Support better

Had a relay stuck on the old board of a 10 year old tub. Ryan in Tech Support helped me try several things before suggesting part replacement.
Not canned BS suggestions but real stuff. Keep that guy!!!
Anyway, bought the replacement pack and installed myself.
Surprised as you know what when everything worked and no leaks!
Attached old and new pics.

As requested, i sent pictures of my actual unit, and they informed me of what unit i should purchase. With that being said, everything went great, very simple installation.

My only issue was that the control panel filler plate that was sent did not fit my unit. When i reached out about it, I was told they do not have a filler plate that i would have to make one. Considering they requested pictures of my complete unit prior to ordering that sux

Third time

I bought my spa in 1992 and this is the third control unit installed in it. The BP7 is well designed and installation was easy. The topside control panel covered all three of the old air actuators. I'm very happy with it and hope I get another 15 years from it. Tech support was great too. The high and low wires were swapped at the motor (when on low speed on the controller I was actually in high speed mode) They told me to swap the red and black wires. Did the trick.

Balboa replacing dead EP1500EPX(8 yrs)

What a nightmare to replace, had to rewire everything and take my timer out. The Balboa did not line up well w/existing fit. So had numerous water leaks w/unions. Lost about 40 gal.s on floor. However did use a chain wrench to losen all joints and finally got things to line up well, no leaks. Had to cut previous plug ends off used on the EP1500 and strip the casing and wires. Everything wire nutted together. Finally had everything wired correctly and no leaks fired it up on Mon. and it worked. Only glitch was the high and low speed on pump was reversed w/the Balboa. Amy in tech. told me to cross streams(switch the red/black wires) and it works perfectly, TY.
My major complaint is the top side control display is very hard to read and the buttons are hard to press in just the right spot. This could be MUCH better. Took awhile to figure out programming, but operates the way I want, nice. My tub was down for 1 mo. missed it, plus very sick and other medical issues, very hard work, but got it done.
