is noisier than the Laing E14 that it replaced, but the hope is that it lasts longer. I've gone through 3 E14's in 10 years. This pump is larger and constructedo of mostly metal with fins that should help dissapate heat better than the plastic of the E14 and last longer.
As other said in their reviews the Strings/Ropes suck and break. I drilled and added Ropes from an older filter. The filter works great once you replace the ropes. I will wait to buy again, when they fix this issue.

My old control pack finally bit the dust so I ordered this set up from Spa Depot. It showed up.on time and was basically a plug and play set up. No cutting pipes and fairly easy to wire it up. It works great so far and it looks nicer than the unit it replaced.
I always buy for the next time we do the SPA. We clean and drain it twice a year. The filters work great.
It was hard finding a filter for my old Sundance spa..These fit perfectly
these directly replace the older Cal Spa vents that **** in with a ring/jet/gaskets. This replaces all of that and screws right in. the "flower" shape on the end will actually open and close, but in the old venturi type spas, you want them 100% open.
